# How To Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a large ovenproof skillet or baking dish, melt the butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and maple syrup, stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture bubbles, about 2 minutes.
03 - Add sliced pears to the skillet. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg, gently tossing to coat. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pears soften and begin to caramelize.
04 - Stir in walnut halves and vanilla extract gently to combine.
05 - Transfer skillet or pour mixture into a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes, until pears are tender and walnuts toasted.
06 - Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. Serve warm topped with Greek yogurt or vanilla ice cream if desired.
