# What You'll Need:
→ Batter
01 - 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
02 - 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
03 - 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
04 - Pinch of salt
05 - 3 tablespoons milk
06 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted (plus extra for greasing)
07 - 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
→ Toppings
08 - 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup
09 - Optional: fresh berries, chocolate chips, or powdered sugar for garnish
# How To Make It:
01 - Lightly coat a large microwave-safe mug (at least 12 oz capacity) with a small amount of butter to prevent sticking.
02 - Add the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt into the mug and stir to mix evenly.
03 - Pour in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until the batter is smooth but avoid overmixing.
04 - Microwave the mug on high power for approximately 90 seconds, or until the pancake has risen and set. Check after 70 seconds as microwaves vary.
05 - Allow the pancake to cool for 1 minute. Then top with maple syrup and, if desired, fresh berries or chocolate chips. Serve directly from the mug.
