# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 lb Italian sausages (mild or spicy), sliced into 1-inch pieces

02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 large red bell pepper, sliced into strips
04 - 1 large yellow bell pepper, sliced into strips
05 - 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

08 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
09 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
10 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
11 - 1 packed cup fresh basil leaves, torn

# How To Make It:
01 - Warm olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
02 - Add sausage slices and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, add red and yellow bell peppers and red onion. Cook for 5 minutes until vegetables soften slightly.
04 - Stir in minced garlic and halved cherry tomatoes. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until tomatoes begin to soften.
05 - Return sausages to skillet. Add dried oregano, crushed red pepper flakes if using, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together and cook for 5 minutes to meld flavors.
06 - Remove from heat and stir in torn fresh basil leaves just before serving.
07 - Serve hot, optionally topped with Parmesan cheese and accompanied by rice, pasta, or crusty bread.
