# What You'll Need:
→ Pudding
01 - 2 cups whole milk
02 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1/4 cup cornstarch
04 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
05 - 2 large egg yolks
06 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
07 - 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
→ Topping
08 - 10 Oreo cookies, crushed
09 - Whipped cream (optional)
# How To Make It:
01 - In a medium saucepan, whisk together milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt until fully smooth.
02 - Place over medium heat and cook, whisking constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles, approximately 5 to 7 minutes.
03 - In a small bowl, whisk egg yolks, then gradually whisk about half a cup of the hot pudding mixture into the yolks to temper.
04 - Pour tempered yolk mixture back into the saucepan, whisking steadily, and cook for 2 to 3 additional minutes until thickened.
05 - Remove from heat and stir in unsalted butter and pure vanilla extract until smooth and fully combined.
06 - Pour the pudding into serving glasses or bowls and allow to cool at room temperature for 10 minutes or refrigerate for at least 1 hour if preferred chilled.
07 - Before serving, sprinkle crushed Oreos generously over the pudding and optionally add whipped cream on top.
